When the going gets tough, the tough get baking

I had a day, well an afternoon in the kitchen, baking up a storm :D
Here is a snap shot of the baking:

Aunty's box of baking( I baked so much, i thought it not a good idea to keep it all in the house :D )

We had a beautiful sunny day today. so Mama and me went for a bike ride and visited family and friends along the way :) Hopefully the weather sticks to being sunny tomorrow as i need to spend the day out with Chester  tidying(poo picking) the paddock and making sure everything is okay with him before i leave on Tuesday for a few days holi in the Naki. I also need to worm him tomorrow too. I had hoped to get a ginger slice made also but didn't quite get there, so that is on the to do list for tomorrow as well. Sounds like it might be a rather busy one tomorrow, i prefer the busy days thou, gives you a feeling of accomplishment, when you finish the day with lots of things done :D Hope you all have been out enjoying the sun :)

Just a little Dedication to My Uncle Richie R.I.P

Rough Translation:

Love is an inspiration
that wells up
like a river that springs
from the tears of the heart
its roots are deep
and when it flows
its roots are deep
and when it flows
it becomes an ebbing, flowing tide
a synthesizing tide
indeed a great tide

Sunday Avo - THE......Beach :)

Mumma Dearest and i went for a drive in honour of Fathers Day(my dad was one for going for *looooong* tiki-tours). We ended up out at Waiinu Beach which is 20-25mins from Wanganui, Taranaki side. Here are some shots from our adventure:

Both Mum and i loved this little beach and it's little town, there is a camping ground which is right on the beach, so when summer comes we are going camping :D YAY!!!

*BIG* Happy Fathers day to all Daddy's out there :)

Picture Post

Had a marvelous afternoon with my boy, just tootled around the paddock then up over the hill to find some grass, have just run out of hay :-( so am now daily taking a hike over the hill to some abundant grass on the next door neighbours driveway(they don't mind and actually quite enjoy Chester coming to visit).
