One day late: Labour day adventure

Mum decided that we would go out for a drive and see where we would end up. So we packed a hamper and set out. We decided to go out to waiinu beach, but we had forgotten a drink so carried on to Waverely and stopped at the 4 square to get a drink, we then decided to just go out to waverley beach since we were already in waverley, we've decided that we like it a little more. Here are some photos:

These swings had little rubber bars across so you couldn't jump off :( no fair! thats the best part of swinging :D

And of course the sunset, well what we could see of it, the cloud was hiding it.

Few days Away.

On Tuesday till Thursday i spent some time with my friend up in Naki. here are a few photos from the trip.

They own and breed guinea pigs and a few of the girls had just had babies:

When the going gets tough, the tough get baking

I had a day, well an afternoon in the kitchen, baking up a storm :D

We had a beautiful sunny day today. so Mama and me went for a bike ride and visited family and friends along the way :) Hopefully the weather sticks to being sunny tomorrow as i need to spend the day out with Chester  tidying(poo picking) the paddock and making sure everything is okay with him before i leave on Tuesday for a few days holi in the Naki. I also need to worm him tomorrow too. I had hoped to get a ginger slice made also but didn't quite get there, so that is on the to do list for tomorrow as well. Sounds like it might be a rather busy one tomorrow, i prefer the busy days thou, gives you a feeling of accomplishment, when you finish the day with lots of things done :D Hope you all have been out enjoying the sun :)

Sunshine :)

We have sunshine today YAY! it isn't supposed to stick around all day but i sure hope it does, i've missed it so much! I biked out to Chester this morning, once i got there i gave him a good brush and a scratch, to get all the bits'n'pieces off his coat that had gotten stuck on it. i was halfway thru grooming him when he decided he wanted to lie down, he looks so cute! i think he has a mild case of colic, as he wasn't very interested in his feed, and kept looking around at his belly, but he did eat some of his feed and a little grass, he also refused a banana yesterday so poor boy isn't feeling to chipper. It is quite cute thou because whenever he isn't feeling to good, he gets really smoochy and cuddly :D I am going to put the wormer thru him on Monday, i use the equest wormer and really like the results i get from it, the first time i used it, it seemed to knock him back for a few hours, but after that he was great, im guess it happened that way because he had encysted larvae. I shall leave you with some photos of Chester and Polly in their *new* paddock :)
